- What counts as traffic?
- Every byte that passes through the gateway on your credentials, upload and download together, including the overhead of TLS and of requests that fail at the destination. Usage in the dashboard and the API is refreshed every five minutes; you get an alert at 80 percent of your balance and another when it is used up.
- Do GB expire?
- No. GB never expire: what you buy stays on your balance until you use it, and a new purchase adds to the same balance. Your balance is always shown in the dashboard.
- Mobile or residential: which one do I need?
- Mobile traffic runs on carrier modems operated by our network partner; peer traffic uses a mixed network; the residential product label does not enforce residential-only addressing. Both pools cost the same and use the same balance, so you can choose per request. Country availability changes; check the locations page for current coverage before buying.
- How do rotation and sticky sessions work?
- Rotation is part of the username. Choose per-connection exit selection, a timed mode of 5, 10, 20 or 60 minutes, or a sticky binding preference. Timed modes are evaluated on a later connection using the saved SID; they do not close existing sockets or guarantee a different IP. A sticky session prefers an existing binding without reserving a device. The carrier may still change the IP of that device. We do not sell fixed IP addresses on this product.
- How do I pay and do I need an account?
- Payments are accepted in cryptocurrency. Sign in or create an account and accept the purchase terms and acceptable-use policy. Email confirmation is optional. Portproof does not require customer KYC or KYB for listed products; the payment provider may require its own checks.
